They are forged, use heavy wire, and have a nice tapered return eye. They are similar to the Tiemco TMC 7999 but are priced better and come in a great range of sizes for steelhead and salmon. The AquaTalon Traditional Salmon/Steelhead Hooks are the same hooks used on Aqua Flies’ highly regarded flies.
