Keller’s Ms. Tickle Cripple dry fly from Montana Fly Company represents a crippled mayfly struggling in the foam. Often overlooked by anglers, cripple dries can be the secret weapon when regular dry fly patterns are ignored by rising fish. This pattern uses MFCs High Rise Razor Foam for buoyancy and after being twitched or an odd cast the fly will correct itself and ride correctly. Keller added flash as legs to help stimulate the water around the hackle and dimple the water for a realistic presentation.
