What Is Semperfli Classic Waxed Thread?

A single core, classic polyester thread designed specifically for fly tyers. 3/0 threaddesigned specifically for fly tying for large Salmon, Predator, Streamer flies and for deer hair spinning with its great strength and usually used on hook sizes 8 or larger. This lightly pre-waxed thread will appeal to fly tyers world-wide. Laying flatter than other threads this makes Classic Waxed Thread better for bodies, will grip materials more with flatter profile and also tie off better. As a polyester thread it has approx. 20% stretch.

Manufactured from single core, lightly twisted polyester this means Classic Waxed Thread is both easier to split for dubbing and importantly will lay flatter than rounder core, tighter twisted threads available today. Strength of thread is important,and this thread isstronger than market leading Uni.
