It allows to tye full bodies of medium/small sized flies without changing the tying thread for the final knots. It is less invasive and bulky compared to other tying threads and flosses.
It is also perfect as a smooth base for wrapping natural and synthetic quills and biots.
Ideal for chironomids, it is also well-suited for nymphs, perdigons, wet and dry flies ranging from size 16 to 22.
