McFly Foam is the ideal fly tying material for one of the all-time great trout, steelhead and salmon flies – egg patterns. McFly Foam is a unique material in that it almost looks as if it is spun, like fiberglass. Because of the unique structure of the fibers, McFly Foam flares exceptionally well with a minimum of material and is the best material for perfectly round eggs patterns. Also makes amazing crab bodies and is useful on small patterns where you need to sculpt to shape.
