Partridge Soft Hackle Nymph

This is a killer fly for a variety of applications, it can be fished in rivers, lakes, and creeks as an emerger, nymph, or stripped. We really like this as a top fly or “tag fly” in a Euro nymphing setup with a heavy anchor fly on bottom and this fly fluttering just off the bottom. Mixing a weighted nymph and a non weighted nymph works extremely well.

A classic dubbed, two-tone body soft hackle with a partridge feather collar that gives fabulous movement and a buggy look in the water. It can be fished alone or as a dropper, and dead-drifted, swung, or twitched.
