Description

Semperfli Classic Waxed Threads are unique, strong polyester fly tying threads. These waxed threads perform by laying flat with a two core construction but can still be split to easily create dubbing loops. Using similar techniques as with Nano Silk, Semperfli extruded thin Polyester strands which were then slightly twisted and had a light amount of wax added to them. The amount of wax added has been specifically applied after consultations with top Professional Fly Tyers.

• The 3/0 (220D) and 6/0 (150D) threads are for large salmon, predator, streamer flies and for deer hair spinning on hook sizes 8 or larger
• The 8/0 (105D) is suited to your standard size trout and salmon flies on hook sizes 8 through 14
• The 12/0 (70D) thread is designed specifically for tying midges, emergers and dry flies in hook sizes 10 to 20
• The 18/0 (30D) thread is designed specifically for fly tying for midges and all micro flies from hook sizes 14 to 32
• 240 yards per spool for 6/0, 8/0, 12/0 and 18/0
• 120 yards per spool for 3/0
